Welcome to Portland International Jetport (PWM)! PWM is the gateway to Maine and the rest of New England and is a five minute drive away from downtown Portland.

Portland International Jetport has seven airlines that provide direct links to the eastern US and Canada including direct flights to Atlanta, Chicago, and Philadelphia as well as Halifax, Nova Scotia, Quebec City, Canada, London, and England. PWM Jetport hosts over 1.8 million travelers.

PWM Jetport is also a major cruise ship destination and had over 90,000 ship passengers in 2011.

Passenger Services

The Jetport is user-friendly and fully handicapped-accessible. You'll find everything you need: a Paradies gift shop/newstand, Visitor Information Center, ATM, a place to walk your dog, snack bar and Shipyard Brewport restaurant. Inside the secure gate area, you will find an ATM, CNBC gift shop, DownEast Marketplace and Cook As a Moose that offers a wide array of top-quality Maine-made products. 

A variety of dining choices include Great American Bagel, Shipyard Brewport, Starbucks, Burger King and Linda Bean's Maine Lobster Cafe. Free WiFi access is available throughout the terminal.


From rental cars to limousines to taxis and vans, you will find all the information you need at the Ground Transportation Booth located right outside Baggage Claim. Taxi service is available from the first flights in the morning to the last flights in the evening. Rental car companies are conveniently located at the consolidated car rental atrium. 

Greater Portland Transit District METRO also provides bus service throughout Portland, Westbrook, Falmouth and the Maine Mall area of South Portland.
